This is project about Africa
Countries: Most of the countries of Southern Africa. Travellers should consider the vaccine if you have stomach ulcers, use anti-acid treatment, or if they live in less than sanitary conditions in areas with high cholera activity.
How to prevent this disease? Follow the standard food and water precautions of eating only thoroughly cooked food, peeling their own fruit and drink boiled water or bottled carbonated water or bottled carbonated beverages. Available vaccine is only 50% effective in reducing disease, and is not recommended routinely for travelers. The first cycle is usually two injections with booster doses given every 6 months for those who remain at high risk. Not recommended for children under 6 months of age or for pregnant women.
